  • We discussed our team and communication skills.
  • We agreed to do a project to reflect citizenship.
  • We planned to work within the school community.

We decided to work on the wildlife garden.  It was overgrown and full of rubbish.  Many of the original plants and trees had been destroyed when the grass was strimmed.  The area was unused and uncared for.

   Our plan was:-
  •    Visit conservation volunteers for advice
  •    Research to find out what the plants are
  •    Organise a fund raiser for the end of term
  •    Spend one day cleaning up the rubbish, the pond and coppicing the shrubs
  •    Planning how the garden would be cared for in the future
  •    Handing over the garden to the school
