Welcome to
At Lisnasharragh we want post primary schooling
to be a worthwhile experience both academically and socially for pupils. Here we will provide opportunities for pupils
to achieve good examination results, gain social skills and develop confidence
in themselves.
We, as a school, see each child as an

WE AIM
It is the aim of the
school to provide a caring and supportive environment, which promotes
improvement, development, achievement and success for all, regardless of
academic or personal differences.

Our Aims and Objectives are fully developed
and supported by the entire staff. They
are the result of discussion and debate by the teachers and as such they
represent the agreed policy of the school.
If the school is
over-subscribed pupils will be admitted according to the criteria below.
1. Pupils who have and older
brother/sister enrolled at the school on the date of transfer.
2. Pupils who have had and older
brother/sister/parent who has attended the school in the past.
3. Pupils transferring from traditional
contributing Primary schools.

basis of their proximity to the school.
Criteria for
Admission of Pupils other than at the normal Transfer Stage.
Pupils will be
admitted according to the following criteria:-

The pupil and their parents/guardians accept and support the principles
of the Home School Partnership Agreement.
Ø
Pupils moving home to the

In Years 11 and 12 the Curriculum provision offered in
Ø
Group sizes in practical classes are not compromised.
Ø The pupil can be placed in a class suited to their age
and educational needs, where their inclusion would not adversely affect the
balance of Special Needs provision in the school.

to the real world and to working life.
